OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE 94 ROCK WLVY
94 ROCK PAYROLL PROMOTION
NOTE: For purposes of this promotion, the term “Payroll” refers to a cash prize. It should not be construed in any manner to mean “payroll” in the standard employee/employer relationship.
Monday through Friday, hourly from 6 to 10am, WLVY Listeners will be invited to call WLVY to get on the WLVY Payroll.
Listeners may register to win by visiting one or all at participating sponsor locations, or by filling out a registration form in person at the WLVY offices located at 1705 Lake Street, Elmira, New York, or by mailing an entry to the same address.
When a listener’s name, (acquired by the registration process above) is called on the air, that listener has 94 seconds to call the radio station to apply to get on the WLVY "Payroll"
If the listener is a successful caller that listener will receive $50.00.
During subsequent hours, the name of other registrants will be called (one per hour). If they are successful in calling back the radio station as described above, they will win $50.00, and the successful caller from the previous hour will be "fired" and not have a further opportunity to get on the WLVY Payroll.
If a contestant survives four additional plays of the game as described above, that contestant will be considered to be "on the payroll" and will earn $94.30 for that day.
The process will then repeat, with one contestant per hour selected to call back the radio station.
A Payroll winner on WLVY may receive a maximum of $94.30 each day, excluding weekends.
Listeners under the age of 18 may participate, but the winning check will be awarded to their parent or guardian as outlined below.
Only one employee per family or household will be allowed in a 30 day period.
Winning contestants are required to claim their check, at the radio station offices at 1705 Lake Street, Elmira, New York during regular business hours as outlined below.
Listeners will be required to produce their Social security number and/or picture ID before any prizes will be awarded.
Listeners winning Monday through Thursday may pick up their prize on any Friday, before the expiration period.
Listeners winning on Friday must wait until the following Friday to pick up their check before the expiration period.
Listeners have 30 days from the date of winner to pick up their prize; otherwise, the check will be forfeited.
Anyone winning over $600 will received a 1099 Tax Form. Winners are responsible for taxes, if any, and will assume all liability on connection with prizes won.
Contest entrants agree that their names, likeness or voice may be used for purposes of advertising the contest with no further permission of compensation required.
Employees, sponsors and their families of Pembrook Pines Media group are not eligible to participate. |
